Solution:                Let the number be x.                x+(1/x) = 122/11                x 2 +11-122x=0                (x-11)(11x-1)=0                x=11. The square value of that number is 121. 2. Find the positive number which when increased by 6 is equal to 55 times of its reciprocal of that number. Solution:                Let the number be x.                x+6 = 55/x                 x 2 +6x-55=0                (x-5)(x+11)=0                x=5. The positive number is 5.
