Aptitude Day 214

Problems to solve:

1. A began a business with 50,000. He was joined afterwards by B with 25,000. For how much period does B join, if the profits at the end of the year are divided in the ratio 4:1?

2. A starts a business with 6,000 and after 6 months, B joins with A as his partner. After a year, the profit is divided in the ratio 3:2. What is B’s contribution to the capital?
