Problems on Surds and Indices:

1. The value of (1000)7 / (10)18 is :

Solution:
                 (103)7 / (10)18

                 = 1021-18

                 = 103

                 = 1000.

2. The value of (256)0.16 *(256)0.09 is:

Solution:
                  (256)0.16 *(256)0.09
 
                  = (256)0.16+0.09

                  = (256)25/100

                  = (256)1/4

                  = (44)1/4
        
                  = 4.
