1. (64)-1/2 - (-32)-4/5 is ?

Solution:
                 1/(82)1/2 -  1/(25)4/5

                = 1/8 - 1/16
       
                = 1/16.


2. (18)3.5 / (27)3.5 * 63.5 = 2x . Find x.

Solution:
                 (2*32)3.5 / (33)3.5 *(2*3)3.5


                 23.5 *37  * 1/310.5 * 23.5 * 33.5

                  27 =2x

                  Hence x = 7.
