Solution:

                 1/(8²)^1/2 -  1/(2⁵)^4/5

                = 1/8 - 1/16

       

                = 1/16.

2. (18)^3.5 / (27)^3.5 * 6^3.5 = 2^x . Find x.

Solution:

                 (2*3²)^3.5 / (3³)^3.5 *(2*3)^3.5

                 2^3.5 *3⁷  * 1/3^10.5 * 2^3.5 * 3^3.5

                  2⁷ =2^x

                  Hence x = 7.
