Ratio and Proportion:

Answer of Day 108: 35:27:18

Problem:

What’s the ratio whose terms differ by 30 and the measure of which is 4/9?

Solution:
                  x/x+30 = 4/9
                  9x = 4x+120
                  x = 24.

                  The required ratio = x:x+30
                                                   = 24:54
                                                   = 4:9
