Ratio and Proportion:
                        
1. x varies inversely as square of y. Given that x=2 and y=6. The value of x for y=3 will be equal to:

Solution:
                x α 1/y2
                x =k/y2
                2 =k/(6)2
                k = 72.

              For y=3,

                  x = 72/(3)2
                    = 72/9

                  x = 8.
