Solution:
Let one number be x.
(x*1) < (x+1).
Hence one of the numbers will be 1.
2. The product of two numbers is 100 and the sum of their squares is 641. What's the sum of two numbers?
Solution:
(x+y)2 = x2+y2+2xy
=
641+2(100)
= 841
x+y = 29.
