How to improve memory : 8 tips



      Hey friends... What's up. Today's topic is how to improve memory power? I've come across many ideas while reading about how to improve memory and now I'm giving you only the ideas which are fun to be carried out and some of my own ideas which I felt to share with you. How increase memory power helps you? Simple. It'll improve your Productivity, Decision-making skills, other brain activities which gives the overall benefits for your body. So what are you waiting for?  Let's get started.

1. Brain exercise

                How to improve memory with brain exercise? Brain exercise helps you to improve memory tremendously if it is done regularly. So allocate 5 to 10 minutes in a day. It may be either morning or evening. Some of the exercises of the brain are solving puzzles, riddles, math problems (aptitude) which I've been posting daily. Besides improving memory, this will helps you to spend your precious time alone happily without depending on others to make you happy. Don't be serious while solving these things and complicate them(for the people who don't like the math). These are the fun activities to be carried out enthusiastically to know how your mind works and you'll take some steps to boost your brain by seeing the drawbacks for sure. You can go for a brain boost game too. All you need to do is to just start. So, give it a go.

2. Use your other hand

                If you're left-handed, use your right hand and if you're right-handed, use your left hand for writing, combing your hair, trimming, watering your plants, carrying the things or any chores... Try to do most of the things using your other hand to activate the other side of your brain which is idle for years. This also plays a major role in improving your memory.

3. Start a new hobby

                 New hobbies such as drawing, playing games like chess, learning a foreign language or anything you're interested in. These activities help you to improve memory the way more than you think. It also makes your brain to think in a creative way.

4. Chatting should be done in a proper way
  
                 While chatting with your friends don't cut short the spelling of the words for your own convenience. That may not look serious now. But this greatly affects your brain and eventually, you'll forget the correct spelling of the words. Once I used to do that and now I'm facing the consequences after these many years. So just avoid that. This is done not only for improving memory but also helps you to remember the correct spellings of the words (if you're a beginner in learning English).

5. Think in a different way

                Always try to think and act in a different way so that your brain is used in a new way (that may be in a funny way or anything) than the usual ones. So the thinking capacity is increased and so your memory power. By this, you'll be able to solve your problems quite easily by thinking in different perspectives.

6. Start watching detective series

              Detective series gives you an idea to view things very clearly and differently. By watching them you'll develop an attitude that no such thing should be avoided since it has less importance. It'll give you a different perspective. You may also read some detective stories or books if you're a bibliophile in order to increase memory power.

7. Put your phone down

              Put down your phone and see around to check what's happening. In our generation, we're extremely busy in the electronic world and fail to notice the things which are happening around us and this makes our observing capability low. By doing this, you may even come across many opportunities which are around you and also increase your concentration power. So live in the present.

 8. Stay happy

            Be happy, Be inspired, Be calm, Be positive, Be alert while doing anything. Spend most of your time with nature. Stay relaxed by doing meditation or yoga or the things you would love to do... The state of mind is really important during the process of improving memory. So always be happy and stay healthy.
