1. If 1/4 : 1/x = 1/x : 10/1.6, then the value of x is:

Solution:
               This is in the form of a:b::c:d
               b*c = a*d
               (1/x)*(1/x) = (1/4)*(100/16)
               1/x2 = 25/16
               x2 = 16/25
               x = 4/5.

2. If 0.5 : x :: 13:6, Then the value of x is:

Solution:
                 13x = 0.5*6
                 13x = 3
