Rules for the number 4
  
There is no cycle for 4.
If you get the power as an odd number, the answer will be 4. If it’s an even number, the answer is 6.

Example: Unit digit of the product of   431 * 440 =?

Solution:  31 is an odd number so 4 and 40 is an even number so 6. Therefore 4*6=24. The unit digit is 4.
