Problems on Average:

1. Find the average of all the numbers between 10 to 40 which are divisible by 7.

Solution:
                 Average = Sum of observations/ Number of observations
     
                 Average = (14+21+28+35)/ 4
                                 = 98/4
                                 = 24.5.

2. The average of the first 6 multiples of 3 is:

Solution:
                 Average = Sum of observations/ Number of observations

                 Average = 3(1+2+3+4+5+6)/6
                                 = 3(21)/6
                                 = 10.5.
